A refreshing vegan and banana and refined sugar free peach-mango smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups 3-4 medium-size ripe peaches, cut into small chunks*1 – plus a few slices as garnish
  • 1 ripe mango peeled and cut into small chunks*2
  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 ½ cup crushed ice

Directions: 

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with peach slices.
  3. Serve immediately.

Optional Directions: 

  1. I leave the skin of the peaches on, but if you want you can peel them.
  2. If I have time to plan ahead, I cut up the mango and freeze the chunks in Ziploc bags. If I do so, I use frozen mango chunks instead of ice.
